I have an umbilical hernia, and I'm having surgery on it tomorrow, gang. It's not an emergency, but they really expedited the process of getting it set up. I have gone from discovering a golfball sized lump in my abdomen, and increasing tightness that led me to the E.R. Monday night, to waking this morning, uncontrollably dry-heaving from the effects of Vicodin on a liquid diet, to seeing the surgeon and having her put me in her schedule for tomorrow, and I still can't believe it's only Wednesday.

My parents are going to take care of me at their place from tomorrow night until probably Saturday morning, so Darryl can work (this fiasco has cut into his work week considerably) and I can just relax and take advantage of my mom's admitted desire of late to be needed. Lydia happens to have no school on Friday, so she's coming with me up there.

Anyway, that means I'll probably not be online until at least Saturday. Darryl and Dale both will, and I'm sure they'll gladly provide interested parties with updates.

I'm cross posting this to all my other blogs too, BTW.
